So maybe you are like me, and your business is feels like it’s in a stand still mode until further notice. With so many unknowns, these circumstances have been especially taxing on small creative service businesses!
Today I will share some tips on things I’ve been during to keep my creative business up and running during this crazy time!
KEEP A CONSISTENT CONTENT FLOW:
To begin, in terms on keeping up with social media content, this might appear too difficult as you are usually posting new content constantly! With no new content coming in to post, this can seem impossible!
Look through your archives, find images you might not have taking much note of before, pull old raw images, re-edit them to fit your current style. Find gems you may otherwise wouldn’t have used.
Post content your audience is currently interested in!
KEEP CONNECTIONS:
Show care & concern for other local business! They are in the same boat as you! Keep in touch with your valued customers, send them a postcard or a note to kindly thank them for their previous business & let them know you are thinking about them!
ONLINE SEO:
Now is a good time to refine your website, and get yourself seen online. Go through your Website, Pinterest, ect and take the time to add alt texts, backlinks ect.
TEMPORARILY PIVOT YOUR SALES STRATEGY
If you offer a service business, like me, this is essential! Look into ways to drive sales other than face to face contact. For example: I opened an online print shop! This Print shop offers digital prints, postcards, calendars, and other goods. Offer Gift Cards for future use!
MANICURE YOUR WEB PLATFORMS
A great time to really go through your website and refine its style! Don’t know where to start? I am offering complimentary website reviews to any small businesses! Let’s get started!
Just remember, when this passes, you want to be able to come back strong as a business, by doing these things now, you can be ahead and ready for when things pick up again!
wishing you all the best!
hugs,
Jill
